100% Malbec, hand-picked from our "Alta" estate vineyards located at 1,400 meters above sea level in Mendoza's Uco Valley. Our winemakers are Fabian Valenzuela and the world renowned Jean Claude Berrouet of Pomerol. Attractive deep Rose color. This Rose has fresh and delightful flavors of strawberries, cherries and flowers. Superbly balanced and excellent value.

NEW TAPIZ "ALTA COLLECTION" WINES
After ten vintages, Tapiz has established itself as one of Argentina's most renowned wineries. The wines are well-received in the United States with national distribution. In 2012 they garnered a Top 100 Best Buy from Wine Enthusiast; according to Restaurant Wine, "Tapiz is a very consistent producer of excellent wines." To celebrate the addition of Jean Claude Berrouet, Tapiz is releasing a new "Alta Collection" line of wines in 2013 that include a Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Malbec Rose.

The "Alta Collection" fruit comes from Tapiz's sustainably-farmed estate vineyards in Uco Valley, Mendoza. Chief winemaker Fabian Valenzuela and Jean Claude work together to create a beautiful tapiz (tapestry) between the wine's intense, high-altitude fruit and its oak aging. These full-bodied wines have the acidity and complexity to drink on their own or complement food. Two legendary winemakers creating four historic wines.

NOV. 28, 2012 - JEAN CLAUDE BERROUET JOINS TAPIZ
We are excited to announce that Jean Claude Berrouet is now consulting winemaker for Tapiz. Jean Claude was chief winemaker at Petrus for 44 vintages; he retired and continues as a consultant for Petrus. Tapiz is proud to have Jean Claude as a consultant with exclusivity for Argentina. The addition of Jean Claude will further our mission of creating world-class terroir-driven wines.
